Costa Calma – Nature, Sports & Freedom

The elongated island Fuerteventura unfolds in the South one of the most beautiful beaches in Europe. Azur-Turquoise Blue coasts with fine golden sand beaches, lined swaying palm trees and endless views across the Atlantic. The region between Costa Calma and Morro Jable known as “Playas de Jandia”  houses this romantic coasts known as “Surfers Paradise”. Costa Calma in the south-west is build on the narrowest part of the island  and where the ever-present sea breeze forces are felt especially in the summer, this is the place to be for those who want to courage their art on the gente waves of the Ocean.

Every year surfers from all over the world try their luck and in the evenings they bunches together on the nice terraces of the bars to talk about their live, experiences, friends and their past. The World Surfers Championschip known as the “Carpa” is a tradition in Costa Calma.
For those who like to do a bit calmer, the golden beaches are the perfect place to enjoy necessary rest after a stressful working year. Even the older generations finds their way in Costa Calma enjoying the solid climate with temperatures still around twenty degrees Celsius during the winter months…
